Originally born in London, 1920 when nautical telescopes 

like myself were used on ships to observe distant objects. 

I like to be called a pirate telescope because that was 

the time in history when pirate ships were not a fantasy but 

the reality. I have been replicated many times since the 

early 18th century, given different looks, changed and improved.

These days I have been called a spyglass, a boat telescope 

or simply a brass telescope. One thing is clear - everybody who

values history and fine things loves me as I make a very 

unique captain's gift, marine corps gift or simply a 

surprise gift to somebody you are having a hard time 

thinking of what to gift! I adopt quickly and turn into a cozy 

home decor or a boat gadget.
